Bonus Pay

I've just resigned and my company is now claiming back the 13th cheque / bonus they paid my earlier in December. Can they do this as it was a verbal condition of employment when I accepted the job and I have given them the required notice period. There have also been no problems with my work performance during my employment - which is obvious or they would not have paid me a bonus to start with!

If you resigned before the year is out then in my oppinion they are entitled to claim their bonus back. However I need more details suich as how long you have worked there and what was the reason for your resignation etc. You do not state all the details.
