This acknowledgement of debt is signed by the debtor (who is a person owing an amount in question). In this acknowledgment of debt, said debtor agrees that he/she owes the creditor (who is the person being owed an amount) said amount and that he/she will pay the amount within the specified period failing which, said debtor will be liable to pay the amount with specified interest.
